Community Medical Center

Challenge: Community Medical Centers was in the process of constructing the Central Valley’s largest and best equipped trauma center. As a non-profit entity, donor support was needed to ensure this facility.

Solution:
Ashford created a prospective donor presentation including demographic research concerning the sphere of influence and the exposure Community garners each news day as part of the Valley and the People. The presentation was made to the tribal leaders of the Table Mountain Rancheria with both Ashford and Community Medical Center staff. Ashford researched and included historical data reflecting the long relationship between the tribe and Community dating back 100 years to the start of Community and the forming of Table Mountain Rancheria. Ashford took a step beyond visual aids in creating a video which took a future approach in presenting the new facility as the Table Mountain Trauma Center. This included a mock news bulletin with live remotes showing Community Medical Center staff with a well known Local television news woman. The tribal council was so impressed, they made a donation of ten million dollars to Community Medical Centers, the largest single cash donation in the history of the Central Valley.
